[RSS]: LEGO's list of the 10 biggest sets omits one

The top ten largest LEGO sets, in terms of number of pieces, has a new entry today, with 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell coming in at number eight.

We recently added a menu item on our browse menu to make it easy to access a query which lists the largest sets and while browsing LEGO.com today I noticed it too has a page listing the top ten as well.

Unfortunately, and rather embarrassingly, LEGO's list has an omission: 75331 The Razor Crest which has 6,187 pieces -- 20 more than Rivendell -- which makes it the 7th largest, is missing. You might expect the company producing these products to maintain better records than the fan community, but clearly that is not the case!

The earliest entry in the list is 75192 Millennium Falcon which was released during 2017. It stole the title of largest set ever from 10189 Taj Mahal and retained it until usurped by 10276 Colosseum in 2020.

All but one of the entries in our list, and LEGO's, are still available.
