It was only released on 1st November so such a steep discount so early in a direct-to-consumer product's lifecycle is practically unprecedented. I think we can conclude that it is not selling well! It's now priced at $175 / £150 which makes it a far more attractive proposition. It's actually not a bad set: it's well-designed and quite good fun, and the minifigure selection is superb.
